Facilities have begun to open at the much-anticipated Prairiefire development in Overland Park, Kan., including the unique Museum at Prairiefire.
Through a partnership with New York’s Museum of Natural History, the museum showcases a combination of permanent and rotating exhibits.
The museum can accommodate groups of up to 300 people, and the entire Prairiefire complex can be divided or combined to host groups with many as many as 5,000 attendees.
Other attractions and group venues include restaurants, markets, a wetlands interpretive trail and the upscale Pinstripes bowling alley.
