Early this year, Radisson opened The Radisson Hotel Hartford. The property is centrally located in the city’s downtown area, and amenities include free high-speed wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, a 24-hour fitness center, a seasonal outdoor pool and a 24-hour business center. The property has more than 8,000 square feet of function space, including 13 meeting rooms and a stylish ballroom.
• MYSTIC
In February, Distinctive Hospitality Group (DHG) acquired the 182-room Hilton Mystic hotel, located at 20 Coogan Boulevard. Hilton Mystic offers more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor pavilion, a signature restaurant, a lounge, a Precor fitness center and a heated indoor swimming pool. According to Lou Carrier, president of DHG, a transformative renovation of the property will be undertaken in the near future.
