SEATTLE
Commune Hotels and Resorts announced plans to open the Thompson Seattle in 2016, as part of a mixed-use development in conjunction with Geolo Capital and Touchstone, a Seattle-based real estate development firm.
It will be the first Thompson Hotel in the Pacific Northwest.
Located adjacent to Pike Place Market, the new-build project will be 12 stories tall and offer views of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountain range.
The development will offer 157 guest rooms, a ground-floor restaurant and rooftop deck and event space.
