QUITO, Ecuador
Plans were announced regarding the 2016 opening of the 202-room Guayaquil Marriott in Ecuador, the brand's third property in the country.
Guayaquil is Ecuador's largest city, and the Marriott will be located in Los Arcos, Samborondon, near shopping, dining and entertainment.
It will offer meeting spaces, a rooftop bar and recreational and fitness facilities.
Also in Ecuador, Marriott currently operates the 257-room JW Marriott Quito and the 135-room Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil.
