The Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta debuted a property-wide renovation this fall.
Designed by Atlanta-based Sims Patrick Studio, the project updated all 426 guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces, with the theme of "Southern charm meets modernism," inspired by nearby Lake Lanier and local architecture and topography.
Guest room enhancements included new bedding, lighting, carpet and televisions and the lobby was designed to create a welcoming, living room feel.
Located 20 minutes northeast of Atlanta, the 17-story hotel features 18 function rooms, including a 8,000-square-foot ballroom, totaling more than 16,000 square feet of event space.
