SANTA MARTA, Colombia
Hilton Worldwide recently announced plans to move forward on construction of the new Hilton Santa Marta, in the Colombian port city.
Slated to open in 2017, the 17-story hotel will add 261 guest rooms, six restaurants and bars and 11,000 square feet of function space, including a 4,000-square-foot ballroom.
Recreational offerings will include outdoor swimming pools and beach access, in addition to the offerings available in the nearby historic downtown.
