South Kudos: Georgia World Congress Center

The Georgia World Congress Center was awarded LEED Silver certification this fall. The conference center measures more than 3.9 million square feet, making it the 14th largest LEED certified building in the world. The downtown Atlanta facility originally opened in 1976 with 750,000 square feet of space and was expanded in 2002, adding substantial square footage, including 1.4 million square feet of exhibit space.
