Visitor Surge Prompts New Orleans Renovations

NEW ORLEANS

The Loews New Orleans Hotel announced the completion of its $4 million guest room and restaurant renovation.

The three-month project updated all 285-room guest rooms and suites, refreshed hotel corridors and gave Cafe Adelaide a new look.

“New Orleans has experienced an incredible surge in visitors these past few years, which means everyone in the city wants to put their best face forward,” says Loris Menfi, general manager at the Loews New Orleans Hotel. “At just 10 years old the hotel is in beautiful shape, but we wanted to give our guest rooms, corridors and restaurant, Cafe Adelaide, a revamp to keep each space looking fresh and vibrant.”

Designed by local firm Lisambiance Interior Design, the new design combines historic New Orleans culture with colors and patterns selected to match the city's architecture and natural surroundings.

Located near the city's Arts District, the Loews New Orleans offers 17,000 square feet of function space, including many rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows.
