The former Best Western Downtown Convention Center has been renamed the Capitol Hotel Downtown Nashville. As of this month (January 2014), all100 guest rooms have been renovated including the bathrooms. The property has also undergone an exterior and lobby renovation.
The Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in fall 2014. In addition to fully renovated guest rooms, highlights include a new lobby and wine bar.
The 123-room Courtyard Nashville Green Hills, which opened in June 2014 next to The Mall at Green Hills, has two meeting rooms.
The new Fairfield Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown/The Gulch opened in fall 2014 with 126 guest rooms and suites, and rooftop meeting space that offers panoramic views of the Nashville skyline.
Hilton Nashville Downtown has undergone a multimillion-dollar upgrade. Phase I included upgrades to all 330 guest suites, the fitness center, which doubled in size, the grand ballroom and meeting rooms. Phase II was completed in July 2014 and includes a completely renovated grand atrium lobby and lounge, as well as 17,800 square feet of meeting space.
Music City Center (MCC), which opened in spring 2013, stretches 19 acres and six city blocks, and features a 353,143-square-foot exhibit space, 90,000 square feet of meeting rooms/breakout space, a 57,000-square-foot ballroom with built-in stage and an 18,000-square-foot junior ballroom. The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame is also located inside the MCC.
The Omni Nashville Hotel, headquarters for Music City Center, opened in September 2013 with 800 guest rooms and 54 suites, and more than 80,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
