ATLANTA
Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria completed a $16 million remodel project and appointed a new general manager.
The Atlanta Galleria hotel transformed the lobby with the brand's Greatroom concept, debuted the new Rocks restaurant, reinvigorated guest rooms and added a concierge lounge.
The new guest rooms at the hotel offer enhanced productivity with spacious work desks, ergonomic chairs and plug-in charging panels.
Joel Darr has been named to lead the modernized hotel. He brings more than 25 years of experience in Marriott leadership, most recently serving as general manager at the Columbia Marriott in South Carolina. Darr has worked at Marriott properties in Boulder, Vail and Denver, Colorado; as well as Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Boca Raton, Florida.
