MANILA, Philippines
New World Hotels was selected to manage the New World Manila Bay Hotel beginning in 2015. The hotel, currently the Hyatt Regency Hotel & Casino Manila, will be the second hotel for the brand in the capital city, joining New World Makati Hotel.
New World Hotels aims to expand rapidly over the next five years with eight new projects announced, including seven in mainland China.
Following the brand conversion, the hotel will be renovated and upgraded. The hotel features 378 guest rooms, including 63 suitessix dining options and meeting space including agrand ballroom and four meeting rooms.
The hotel is located in the Malate Manila district with easy access to businesses, government offices and the U.S. Embassy, shopping and entertainment, as well as attractions such as Chinatown and the Cultural Centre of the Philippines. The city's domestic and international airports are less than 30 minutes' drive away and the port terminal is 10 minutes from the hotel.
Also operated by New World Hotels, the 595-room, extensively renovated New World Makati Hotel is located opposite the Greenbelt shopping destination, in Makati's commercial district.
