Fort Jackson
Groups holding events at this National Historic Landmark three miles down the Savannah River from town can arrive by riverboat and arrange for a rousing welcoming cannon blast and greeting by a blue-and-grey color guard, along with uplighting on the fort.
Georgia State Railroad Museum
This museum features several vintage locomotives and train rides. There are five venues to choose from, full bar service is available, and the museum often works with local company Creative Catering.
