The much-anticipated Virgin Chicago hotel opened in January, representing the worldwide debut of the brand.
The 250-room hotel is located within a historic Art Deco building in Chicago’s Loop, just off the Chicago River, surrounded by the city’s art, food and nightlife.
With unique room designs and spunky touches, the hotel has the personality that Richard Branson’s enterprises are known for. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a nightly social hour, a dedicated app and a spa scheduled to open in the spring. Included in the room inventory are 40 one-bedroom suites and two penthouse suites.
The Virgin property has three function spaces; The Manor, seating up to 108; The Sandbox, seating up to 72; and the 12-person Founders Room boardroom.
The property will eventually feature four dining venues, including the Commons Club lounge, a rooftop bar and an American-style diner.
