Kimpton Hotels debuted its new Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh in January, the brand’s first hotel in the city.
The 248-room propety is located in the refurbished Beaux Arts-style James H. Reed Building, originally constructed in 1903, making it Kimpton’s 13th adaptive reuse project.
For groups, there is 11,000 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. The Commoner restaurant will seat 120 and serve wood-fire dishes and local beers.
