Mohegan Sun resort announced a partnership with BLADE, a short-distance aviation company focusing on digital connection with consumers, allowing them to select seats and crowdsource helicopter flights.
The Connecticut casino resort has an on-property helipad and is 45 minutes from New York City via helicopter (a 112-mile trip).
The companies plan to offer a series of entertainment packages. The first took place in late January, offering a new transportation option to a Linkin Park concert at the hotel’s arena.
Mohegan Sun offers 1,200 guest rooms, a 10,000-seat arena, three casinos and numerous shops and restaurants.
