Kimpton's Ink48 hotel renovates 'Heaven Over Hell' suite

Kimpton’s Ink 48 hotel in Midtown Manhattan recently renovated its “Heaven Over Hell” penthouse suite. Named for the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood it is perched above, the upgraded space is described as “a suspended glass jewel box,” with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic skyline views.

Located on the 17th and 18th floors of the hotel, the space can accommodate events of up to 60 people and be arranged in a variety of variations. The suite offers groups plentiful natural light and a 2,200-square-foot private terrace.

Senior Catering & Sales Services Manager John Garone says planners love the stunning, unobstructed views of Manhattan and the Hudson River, as well as the high-quality farm-to-table catering offered by its PRINT restaurant.

“It’s a great space with so much natural light,” he says.

Due to the hotel’s proximity to the Javits Convention Center, the Heaven Over Hell penthouse also makes a convenient off-site reception or post-show reception venue.

“It was designed to be versatile with moveable furniture,” Garone says. “It’s a blank slate, whether a planner wants a conference table or a casual living room.”
