Marriott International announced the launch of Canvas, the company’s new global incubator for encouraging new food and beverage concepts.
Chefs, bartenders, artisans and entrepreneurs were invited to pitch ideas focusing on a select group of Marriott properties, including the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown and the JW Marriott Shenzhen in China. The idea being to match new talent and creative ideas with Marriott’s resources, space and capital.
Selected concepts will receive backing from Marriott and be evaluated for popularity and return on investment.
