  • Virgin Hotels opened its first property in January, Virgin Hotels Chicago. Located in the heart of Chicago’s Loop district in the historic Old Dearborn Bank Building, the property offers 250 guest rooms and suites, four dining spots and three modular spaces on the third foor for meetings and events.
  • Loews Hotel Chicago debuted earlier this year, featuring 400 guest rooms, including 36 suites, a signature restaurant, more than 25,000 square feet of innovative meeting space, multiple event-ready outdoor terraces, a spa and fitness center, and an outdoor rooftop pool area overlooking the city.
  • Hyatt the Loop opened in February, housed in a 1920s former office building overlooking Chase Plaza and offering 257 guest rooms, a French bistro, a rooftop lounge and 2,540 square feet of meeting space.
  • In the Forbes 2015 Travel Guide ratings, five stars were given to the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago (www.fourseasons.com), The Peninsula Chicago (www.peninsula.com) and the Trump International Hotel & Tower, while four stars were given to the Park Hyatt Chicago, The Ritz-Carlton Chicago and Waldorf Astoria Chicago.
