The recent unveiling of Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing marks the completion of Beijing’s new Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island destination. The hotel offers 306 guest rooms and suites spread across 21 floors.
Located 35 miles north of Beijing's city center, alongside the Yanqi Lake and with views of Yan Mountain and the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island is Kempinski’s largest property in China.
This entire destination includes 595 guest rooms and suites housed across the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing, the Yanqi Hotel and 12 boutique hotels on Yanqi Island. Leisure facilities include 14 restaurants and bars, multiple spas, a private marina, the Yanqi Pagoda, fitness facilities and landscaped gardens.
The complex offers 151,437 square feet of meeting space, including the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Conference Centre, and four hotel ballrooms and 23 meeting rooms.
The gradual opening of each facility began last November, six days after the final meeting of APEC China 2014 was held on Yanqi Island
