Gourmet Gatherings in Lake Geneva

Many delicious meals, from seafood to steak, are awaiting groups that would like to dine out after a long day of meetings in Lake Geneva.

Tuscan Tavern & Grill, which has private dining areas for groups, seating from 20 to 60 guests at a time, as well as private restrooms and a private bar, is a great choice for groups to enjoy a meal in a comfortable setting, according to Kristyna Kuen, the restaurant’s assistant manager.

“There are many delicious items on the menu, but some of the most popular are Cioppino pasta, featuring a spicy red sauce with mussels, salmon, clams and mahi-mahi over a bed of pasta,” she says, adding that an entire gluten-free menu is available.

Rustic elegance and quality food make the Hunt Club Steakhouse a must-visit, according to Alice Dickman, spokeswoman for the restaurant, which has private areas available for groups of 20 to 100 people.
“Featuring polished wood, artful decor and a laid-back vibe, the Hunt Club is a great place to dress up or down depending on the preferences of your group,” Dickman says.

Pier 290 is located at Gage Marina directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. The restaurant has outdoor seating, complete with a relaxing sandy beach and fire pits, as well as canopies to accommodate up to 300 people for a cocktail party under the stars. Inside, there are private dining areas that seat up to 12 people, according to Katrina Lubinski, spokeswoman for the restaurant.

“The restaurant itself is created from refurbished materials from old farms, lakefront mansions and boats from Gage Marine’s fleet, giving it a distinctive nautical feel,” she says. “Their braised beef short ribs are a favorite for many diners.”
Sopra, an American Bistro, which has two private rooms upstairs for 12 and 28 people and can be bought out for events, has been successful at providing great service for various types of groups, according to the restaurant’s spokeswoman, Carrie Cumming.

“Sopra’s decor represents a casual, fine dining experience for customers; fine art and a large comfortable hand-carved bar add to an aura of upscale elegance,” she says.

Among Sopra’s most popular dishes are lamb shank with saffron gnocchi, Loch Duarte salmon and spaghetti Bolognese.
