Groups looking to tap into Las Vegas history can go to the source at Springs Preserve. While long since dried up, the namesake springs at this national historic site date back thousands of years, originally used by Native Americans and later, the pioneers who settled the future Las Vegas.
Located three miles off the Strip, the group-friendly Preserve complex includes the Platinum LEED-certified Desert Living Center, an eight-acre botanical garden, hiking trails, a museum and an 1,800-seat amphitheater.
“As a unique cultural and biological resource in Southern Nevada, Springs Preserve is committed to serving as a living exhibit for sustainability practices and will help ‘green’ every aspect of your meeting,” says Dawn Barraclough, the preserve’s publicist. “Our lush 180-acre campus offers indoor and outdoor venues, garden settings, full audiovisual capabilities and delicious catering—there’s no more scenic location in Las Vegas to clear the corporate mind.”
With discounted rates for groups, the preserve also offers year-round tours, cultural festivals, art shows and other programs.
