Denver
➤ The 519-room Westin Denver International Airport is scheduled to open in November 2015 at Denver International Airport (DEN). The hotel is part of the new Hotel and Transit Center, which will provide rail service to downtown Denver when it opens in early 2016. The property will feature 37,500 square feet of function space in its attached conference center.

The ART Hotel is expected to open in June 2015 adjacent to the Denver Art Museum. The 165-room boutique hotel will feature its own art curator, art collection and unique architecture. The facility will include 4,100 square feet of meeting space.

Boulder
➤ The 150-room Hyatt Place/Boulder Pearl Street recently opened in April 2015. The property offers 5,000 square feet of meeting space across eight rooms.

➤ Renovations to the 9,400-square-foot Glenn Miller Ballroom in the University Memorial Center at the University of Colorado Boulder were completed in January 2015. New skylights, natural wood, theatrical rigging, hardwood floors and water bottle refilling stations were added, in addition to a modernized catering kitchen and other upgraded facilities.

➤ The 269-room Millennium Harvest House Boulder completed renovations on its superior and deluxe guest rooms and suites, in addition to its public spaces. The hotel is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, near the University of Colorado campus. The property features 48,000 square feet of outdoor and indoor meeting and banquet space, including an outdoor pavilion.

Aspen
➤ A pair of group-friendly restaurants recently debuted in Aspen. The Grey Lady is modeled after the restaurant of the same name in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, serving Nantucket-inspired fare that includes fresh lobster dishes and specialty cocktails.

Meat & Cheese, a European-style restaurant and artisanal food shop, opened on Aspen’s “Restaurant Row.” The shop portion sells local cured meats and artisanal cheeses.

Colorado Springs
➤ The Flying Horse community completed the first construction phase of The Lodge at Flying Horse. The new facility is currently taking reservations for its four independent, two-room, luxury villas; 40 additional guest rooms are expected to open this fall. The Lodge will offer 10,000 square feet of indoor function space and over 10,000 square feet of outdoor space.

The SunWater Spa is expected to open in Manitou Springs in Spring 2015. The facility will make use of the town’s natural mineral springs and offer views of the nearby Pikes Peak.
