Salt Lake City
- Word is expected soon on site selection for the city’s long-anticipated convention hotel. Awarded to Omni Hotels & Resorts, the estimated $300-$350 million project, to be built adjacent to the Salt Palace Convention Center, is down to three possible sites. With an estimated construction timeframe of two years, the headquarter hotel would be Omni’s first in Utah.

- Opened in December 2014,Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtownis a 159-room extended-stay property adjacent to the Salt Palace Convention Center offering two meeting rooms and 888 square feet of space.
Park City
- Part ofDeer Valley Resort, the 266-room Lodges at Deer Valley, offering 7,000 square feet of meeting space, has opened the year-round Brass Tag restaurant.
- Vail Resortsrecently announced a $50 million capital improvement plan linking Park City and Canyons Resorts, creating the single largest resort in the United States. Significant investments will include a new gondola, two new chairlifts, a new restaurant and two restaurant improvements.
