Ambers Resort & Conference Center completed a $14 million renovation in mid-2014. All 228 guest rooms have been refreshed, and the resort now offers two indoor and two outdoor pools. Ambers’ Redwood Ballroom can accommodate as many as 500, the Willow Room can welcome 250, and the Oak Room can host 100. Ambers provides complimentary passes to Noah’s Ark Water Park and Chula Vista Water Park valid for each day of guests’ stay. Ambers is located within walking distance of the River District and Downtown Wisconsin Dells.
Woodside Sports completed an expansion to its Wisconsin Dells complex in 2015, adding two new grass soccer/multipurpose fields. The complex’s existing facilities included six synthetic turf soccer fields, four synthetic turf baseball/softball fields, six batting cages, two meeting rooms and a VIP viewing area. In 2013, Woodside Sports opened a sports facility in nearby Mauston that currently offers synthetic turf baseball/softball fields. There are plans to expand the Mauston facility to include 10 synthetic turf soccer/multipurpose fields, 20 sand volleyball courts and a concert field capable of hosting 50,000 for live performances. The company also operates the 90,000-square-foot Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center Dome.
This summer, Chula Vista Resort is launching a new attraction. The first aerial adventure park in the region, Heightened Adventures will feature six acres of ziplines and obstacles. In addition, the resort’s historic Cold Water Canyon Golf Course boasts a new clubhouse. The facility includes a 200-seat restaurant. Chula Vista offers lodging for 640 and 200,000 square feet of event space.
Best Western Ambassador Inn & Suites is in the midst of a major renovation project. Upgrades include new bathroom vanities, lighting and window treatments in all 180 guest rooms. There is one meeting room. Groups receive complimentary passes to Chula Vista Water Park.
