China
The Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake recently debuted in Yunnan Province with 346 guest rooms. Located near Kunming’s Changshui International Airport, the hotel offers a private white-sand beach, landscaped gardens and bamboo forests. Guest rooms feature private balconies with lake or garden views. The hotel offers six restaurants and bars, including a cigar bar, as well as a full-service spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a fitness center. There is more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities, including a grand ballroom accommodating up to 1,200 attendees.

Dubai
Hilton Dubai World Central is an upscale 535-room hotel slated to open in Dubai World Central, a master planned urban development centered on Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. Anticipated to open in early 2019, the property will feature seven floors, with a ballroom, eight meeting rooms and six boardrooms, as well as a spa. The hotel will also be located close to the venue of Dubai Expo 2020, a focal point for Dubai’s tourism objective of reaching 20 million visitors per year.

Italy
The Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan opened in May with 235 guest rooms, including 53 suites. Formerly known as Palace Gallia, the hotel is a Milanese landmark. The building recently underwent a renovation of its historic palace, while also adding a new contemporary wing. Highlights include the more than 10,000-square-foot Katara Suite, featuring a private spa. Set to open in September is a rooftop mixologist bar and signature restaurant. The ground floor of the hotel’s new wing features 12 meeting rooms, spanning more than 10,000 square feet, as well as 7,500 square feet of foyer space.

Macau
JW Marriott Hotel Macau and The Ritz-Carlton, Macau recently debuted. The properties are located within Galaxy Macau, offering shopping, dining, entertainment events and meeting spaces. JW Marriott Hotel Macau features 1,015 guest rooms and suites and is home to four restaurants. The hotel offers more than 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. The Ritz-Carlton, Macau features over 250 suites on the top floors of the integrated resort and over 9,500 square feet of flexible event space. There is also a spa with treatment rooms and an outdoor pool.

Mongolia
The 290-room Shangri-La Hotel, Ulaanbaatar opened in June. The hotel is connected to Ulaanbaatar’s only luxury mixed-use development, the Shangri-La Centre, which will debut in 2016. Features will include a 77,500-square-foot sports club with an indoor swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi and sauna. The hotel features about 28,449 square feet of meeting space, including a 13,993-square-foot grand ballroom capable of accommodating more than 800 guests. There is also a fitness center and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Myanmar
The Sheraton Yangon Hotel will be a new-build property in Myanmar’s capital city, slated to open in summer 2017. The hotel will feature 375 guest rooms, a spa, three dining venues and recreation facilities ranging from a swimming pool to a fitness center. Plans call for function space totaling more than 20,000 square feet.
