Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan, in China recently launched a Drone Experience room package. In response to the increasing popularity of drones by photography enthusiasts from around the world, the resort has partnered with DJI, China’s largest drone manufacturer, to provide guests a new vacation experience. Guests who book the package will be entitled to a 60-minute hands-on flight experience with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ with an experienced instructor.
During the flight, guests can capture 14-megapixel images and record video. The footage will be directly recorded to the guest’s mobile device, making it quick to share on social media. The package includes other benefits, such as complimentary buffet breakfast, 50 percent discount on spa treatments and a complimentary upgrade to the next room category.
