JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa is serving up a unique option for group dining.
Meeting planners can work with resort staff to create an on-site food truck park on the lawn of the resort by choosing from a number of local food truck partners.
The Flyin’ Lion is the resort’s signature food truck and offers regional favorites such as pulled pork, smoked sausage, brisket, baked potatoes and a variety of creative desserts. Locally grown ingredients, regional flavors and uniformed chefs add to the event atmosphere.
Additional local and regional trucks such as Be More Pacific (Filipino comfort food), Rickshaw Stop (Pakistani street food) and Peach Wave (artisan frozen yogurt) can be incorporated into dining events to create a movable feast for attendees. Groups may choose from an array of approved local food trucks and the resort will provide extra amenities such as a chili and extra fixins’ or a hot pretzel stand.
The Flyin’ Lion is available for groups with a minimum of 50 guests and can accommodate more than 300 people. Imaginative themes include a Road Rally party, which incorporates a local motorcycle club roaring into the event, parking their bikes and dining with the guests for an authentic food truck park experience.
