Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino announced the final phase of its resort-wide transformation with the upcoming redesign of more than 3,000 guest rooms and suites.
Created by the MGM Resorts International Design Group, each of the designs for the new rooms and suites will feature vibrant colors and bold statement pieces.
"Mandalay Bay has undergone a remarkable evolution over the last few years," said Chuck Bowling, president and COO of Mandalay Bay. "These new rooms and suites will round out a dynamic resort experience complete with world-class dining, high-energy entertainment and nightlife and premier meeting and convention space."
Featuring bright, natural designs and color palettes with modern furnishings, the new rooms will offer comfortable spaces ideal for guests in search of a retreat during their stay. Splashes of texture and color have been carefully integrated into lush fabrics and warm curtain patterns to create a bright and airy atmosphere.
The approximately $100 million remodel includes more than 3,000 guest rooms and suites. The project is expected to be completed by spring 2016.
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino set on 120 lush acres on the Las Vegas Strip. The resort offers three distinct hotel experiences: Mandalay Bay with 3,211 luxurious rooms and suites reflecting a modern tropical ambiance; Four Seasons Hotel, a AAA Five Diamond hotel-within-a-hotel, offering 424 newly remodeled rooms and suites; and the stand-alone luxury all-suite Delano Las Vegas that debuted September 2014.
Mandalay Bay boasts an 11-acre tropical pool paradise featuring real sand, a wave pool, the only climate-controlled, poolside gaming in the city and DAYLIGHT Beach Club.
Other resort highlights include world-class entertainment at the 12,000-seat Mandalay Bay Events Center, award-winning dining by celebrity chefs and restaurateurs, LIGHT Nightclub, Shark Reef Aquarium, Spa Mandalay and the 1.7-million-square-foot Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Mandalay Bay also is currently home to Michael Jackson ONE, Cirque du Soleil's latest resident production based on the music and choreography of the King of Pop.
