Fargo
West Fargo-based Cambria Hotel and Suites opened in spring 2014 with 103 guest rooms and an on-site conference center featuring a 5,220-square-foot ballroom and a boardroom.

The 100-room Fargo-based Clubhouse Suites, which will have 6,300 square feet of meeting space, is on track to open in September attached to the Porter Creek Steak House.

Four Points by Sheraton Fargo is on track to open in October with 90 guest rooms and three meeting spaces, the largest totaling 1,475 square feet.

Bismarck
Bismarck Event Center completed an exhibit hall expansion earlier this year, bringing its total exhibit space to 100,000 square feet. In addition to its exhibit space, the Bismarck Event Center has nearly 20 meeting rooms and an arena with seating for up to 10,000 people.

The State Museum at the North Dakota Heritage Center (NDHC), which serves as the state history museum, finished a $52 million expansion in November 2014 and now has 39,000 square feet of exhibit space. Function spaces at NDHC accommodate group events for 20 to 2,000 guests and include an auditorium, atrium and outdoor amphitheater.

At press time, Ramada Grand Forks was in the process of a full-property renovation to include upgrades to the conference center, lounge, restaurant and 100 guest rooms.

Minot
Holiday Inn Riverside, which features more than 26,000 square feet of meeting space and 176 guest rooms, completed a renovation in early 2015. The hotel’s sister property, Holiday Inn Express, adds an additional 66 rooms off-site.

North Dakota State Fair Center, Minot’s largest facility with more than 200,000 square feet of display and support space, underwent renovations in 2015 for HVAC, sound and lighting.
