Dallas Suburb Lands New Meetings Hotel

FRISCO, Texas

Thomas Land & Development announced plans to make Wade Park—its 175-acre, $1.6 billion upscale mixed-use development underway in Frisco—home to Texas’ first Langham Hotels & Resorts hotel. Slated to open in early 2018, the new hotel will be located along the Dallas North Tollway at Lebanon Road.

“This hotel will be a centerpiece for Wade Park, surrounded by high-end restaurants, retail, entertainment, offices and residential—built for a new generation, with a luxurious, metropolitan design and amenities for both locals and travelers alike," says Stan Thomas, president and CEO of Thomas Land and Development, owner and developer of Wade Park and the hotel. “From the well-appointed, spacious guest rooms and meeting, convention and wedding spaces, to the rooftop pool deck and event lawn, to the Chuan Spa, this will be the area's premium urban resort.”

The projects progressive high-rise architectural design, by 5G Studio Collaborative in Dallas, will be sleek and modern with a total of up to 35 floors, including up to 25 hotel floors and 10 floors of planned residential. Plans for The Langham Hotels & Resorts luxury hotel at Wade Park feature:

  • 250 stylish and spacious guest rooms, including several one and two-bedroom suites and two impressive 2,906 square-foot presidential suites.
  • More than 25,000 square-feet of meeting and convention space, including boutique meeting rooms to accommodate surrounding businesses like those in the two surrounding office towers.
  • Beautiful rooftop pool deck, full-service bar, and Courtyard events lawn ideal for music and special events, with adjoining walkway bridge to the office tower and iPic Theaters.
  • A full-service Chuan Spa featuring Chuan Body + Soul signature holistic treatments.

In addition to acclaimed hotels throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Langham Hotels & Resorts have a strong presence in North America with award-winning luxury hotels in Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and New York. This new location, which is expected to open at Wade Park, will be the brand’s first hotel in the southern / southwest region of the U.S.

Langham is slated in 2018 to join previously announced Hotel ZaZa and an impressive line-up of retail, restaurant and entertainment tenants set to open in Wade Parks first phase in spring 2017: Whole Foods Market; iPic Theaters; Pinstripes Bowling, Bocce, Bistro, Arhaus, The Rustic, Thirteen Pies, Steel City Pops, Torchys Tacos, Bread Zepplin, MiniLuxe, and The Lash Lounge.

Thomas Land and Development broke ground on Wade Park in August 2014.
