Illinois
The Omni Chicago Hotel completed its $11 million, multi-year makeover and transformed 347 suites, including 10 specialty suites and all of its public space. Updates to the highly acclaimed 676 Restaurant & Bar, the hotel’s nine meeting rooms and 8,000 square feet of meeting space have also been completed. An additional meeting room, the Van Gogh Room, was added, featuring 1,624 square feet of space and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Michigan Avenue.

The Westin Chicago River North completed an extensive renovation of its 429 guest rooms and 20th floor Executive Club Lounge. The Treadmill Desk, a sit-stand-walk workstation, is being piloted in a guest room on-property, allowing travelers more opportunities to move and work well, while aligning with the Westin brand’s commitment to enhance the overall wellbeing of its guests. The hotel now features 19 meetings rooms and over 30,000 square feet of meeting space with the addition of the Riverfront room.

Minnesota
Hotel Ivy has completed an extensive renovation and redesign of its 136 guest rooms and public spaces, including a new restaurant, Monello, a street-level bar and lounge, Venetia, and a subterranean bar, Constantine. The hotel’s Ivy Spa Club is the largest spa in Minneapolis, and is adjacent to the Ivy Fitness Club. The property has 6,000 square feet of meeting space with six meeting rooms.

Sheraton Bloomington completed its renovation of guest and public spaces. The 282-room property introduced a new restaurant, Lela, and the addition of the Club Lounge, a space with upgraded amenities and offerings for members. Lela offers contemporary American cuisine with classic techniques like seafood crudo and house-made pastas available in sharable plates for groups. A 30-foot bar with a 10-screen video display in the lobby provides guests a full-scale Starbucks during the day and a high-design bar in the evening. The hotel now offers more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space and is located on the Bloomington/Edina business corridor, near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America.

Missouri
The historic Hotel Lennox, which has been closed since 2011, is reopening as The Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Downtown/Convention Center Hotel. Originally opened in 1929, the property has undergone a major renovation and will be one of the most unique and historically significant Courtyard-branded hotels. Located in the Washington Avenue District, within walking distance of many of businesses, restaurants and major sports and entertainment venues, the hotel is the only property connected to the convention center. The original 165 suites have been converted to extra-large guest rooms and its 1,100 square feet of meeting space can accommodate up to 100 people.

Ohio
The five-story, 267-room DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland-Westlake, formerly a Holiday Inn, opened following a total renovation of its guest rooms, public space, meeting space and banquet rooms. Locally influenced artwork is featured in the hotel’s public areas, celebrating the area’s notable landmarks, and guests can enjoy the indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center and airport shuttle. The hotel also debuted the Sanctuary Restaurant, led by award-winning chef Chris Hodgson, which is open for all-day dining. Four conference rooms, a grand ballroom and seven meeting rooms offer over 11,000 square feet of renovated meeting space.
