Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is changing its lobby bar experience with new additions through Paired, a food and beverage program with small plates and bar snacks served with suggested wine and beer pairings.
The expanded menu allows guests try global cuisine with local influences.
“Sheraton guests crave new and personalized experiences, and when they travel, they look to create these opportunities,” says Dave Marr, global brand leader, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.
Partnering with Wine Spectator for another new program, Sheraton Selects was created to offer a curated list of premium wines rated 85 points or higher that are available by the bottle, glass or two-ounce taster. Sheraton is also tapping the craft beer movement by offering local brews to complement the bites.
Paired goes outside of the box with what are thought of as non-traditional combinations, like its Banana Bread Peanut Butter Sandwich paired with Tawny Port, and La Quercia Smoked Prosciutto with Scottish ale.
Offered across Sheraton properties globally, Paired is available daily during the lobby venue’s hours of operation. Key Sheraton properties around the world will also host celebrations to introduce guests to the new concept, as well as demonstrations by local craft breweries or sommelier-hosted courses in which guests can learn the secrets to flavor pairing.
