July and August were some Busy months on the meetings industry association annual meeting calendar, with DMAI in Austin, followed by MPI WEC in San Francisco and ASAE in Detroit. It all started with a Marriott Convention & Resort Network press trip to San Antonio and Austin. Whew!
◗ The Marriott Convention & Resort Network trip found us visiting properties in San Antonio and Austin, with a stop at the event-ready Knibble Ranch to take in a taste of true Texas in between.
◗ This year’s DMAI Annual Convention, in Austin, Texas, found Meetings Focus sponsoring a hole at the Foundation Golf Tournament, as well as taping an On Location broadcast.
◗ MPI WEC, in San Francisco, featured full-throated entertainment, engaging education and Meetings Focus friend
Tara Liaschenko being awarded the RISE Award for Member of the Year.
