The Radisson Blu brand is expanding into Latin America with three properties.
“Radisson Blu has a global presence with over 280 hotels in operation throughout the world and we see great potential for the brand in Latin America,” says Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Americas.
Radisson Blu ar Santa Marta Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in Santa Marta, one of the most historic cities in Columbia, in 2017. The new-build hotel will have 190 rooms, two restaurants, a rooftop terrace and a full-service spa. The property will also feature 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space offering groups flexible options.
Radisson Blu Santiago, La Dehesa debuts in early 2016. The transformation from the Radisson Petra La Dehesa Hotel includes upgrades to its 105 guest rooms, public areas and restaurants. The hotel has 3,900 square feet of meeting space and can arrange for group tours and lunch to the vineyards outside Santiago.
The new-build Radisson Blu San Andres Resort & Spa, located on the island of San Andres, which is known for its marine life and coral reef diving, is opening in early 2016. The beachfront boutique resort will feature 77 suites with private plunge pools, two restaurants, multiple bars and a terrace overlooking the beach.
