Group Gift Ideas in Greater Boston

Gift ideas for groups meeting in the Greater Boston area range from the sweet to the sporty and the spooky.

Representing Boston proper, of course, is iconic memorabilia, including Boston Red Sox caps and t-shirts, pint glasses and shot glasses from renowned pub Cheers, and teacups and teapots from the Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum.

Attendees will also appreciate a gift from Yankee Candle, the popular purveyor of candles with scents such as Crisp Morning Air, Gingerbread Maple, Vanilla Bourbon and Brandy Pear Tart.

If the group meets in Cambridge, they might like to go home with a gift emblazoned with Harvard, such as a t-shirt, sweatshirt, notebook, pen or mug.

Two great representations of time spent in the North of Boston area are the 100 Years of Recipes cookbook from Woodman’s of Essex, which features more than 100 Woodman family recipes as well as stories about the invention of the fried clam and local history, and a witch hat or other gift from the Salem Witch Museum, a must-visit attraction in Salem, a.k.a. Witch City.

And in Merrimack Valley is Lowell, Mass.-based Sweet Lydia’s, a gourmet candy shop that specializes in flavored marshmallows that attendees won’t find anywhere else.

Here, planners can get customized s’mores for groups, various flavored caramels, and gift boxes including marshmallow treats and specialty candy bars.
