The craft beer movement isn’t showing any signs of slowing down and many breweries feature space, some even in the production area itself, for private events. Here are four that not only produce quality brew, but also provide a unique and flexible venue. And with the beer flowing, everyone’s guaranteed to have a good time!
Boulevard Brewing Co.
Kansas City
Boulevard Brewing Co.’s Muehlebach Suite features 3,400 square feet of space and views of downtown Kansas City. In addition to its award-winning beer (the brewery has won 11 Great American Beer Festival medals), the venue has a full commercial kitchen, audiovisual equipment, ample parking and buyouts are available.
Brooklyn Brewery
New York
Brooklyn Brewery began brewing beer in 1987 in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg district before both craft beer and the neighborhood were cool. The venue is a 4,000-square-foot industrial-style space that can accommodate up to 200 and includes unlimited beer during the use of the space and a tour of the brewery.
Deschutes Brewery
Bend, Ore.
One of the top 10 breweries in the U.S., Deschutes Brewery has two spaces that can be used for private events. The Mountain Room is located at the bottling plant and has an outdoor deck with views of the Cascade Range. The space can accommodate 80 banquet-style or 150 for a reception. Upstairs at the brew pub, the Tap Room can accommodate 100 for dining or up to 150 for a standing reception.
SweetWater Brewing Co.
Atlanta
Founded by two college roommates, SweetWater Brewing Co. is located in midtown Atlanta and offers two separate spaces for private events. The venue’s 3,000-square-foot Tasting Room and adjacent 3,750-square-foor patio can handle up to 300 seated or 600 reception-style. SweetWater’s Reel Room measures nearly 3,800 square feet and can accommodate up to 280 seated or 450 for a reception. Both spaces can be used for a full facility buyout.
