R Bar
A cool newcomer touting itself as “Tucson’s best alley bar since 2014,” this venue is home to live and DJ music, diverse ales from home and overseas, as well as tiki-themed and other craft cocktails. Club Congress, www.hotelcongress.com A rollicking hive of live tunes, this vibrant nightspot is connected to the handsome and historic Hotel Congress and has been a Tucson standby since its 1985 launch.
Tough Luck Club (a.k.a. Reilly Basement Bar)
Set in the cellar of the locally famed Reilly Pizzeria, this tavern prides itself on its craft cocktails and no-frills, stone-walled ambience. Its cozy confines make it best for smaller groups.
