A 205-room Westin Hotel is currently under construction and scheduled to open this coming November.
Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and Museum of Mississippi History are under construction and scheduled to open in December 2017.
Hattiesburg
The 109-room Best Western Premier opened in December with a business center and two event spaces. At press time, the 94-room TownePlace Inn & Suites was slated to open last December.
The joint Home2 Suites and Hampton Inn by Hilton project is expected to open in late 2016.
Vicksburg
The Bluff of Vicksburg, an event venue, opened last March and accommodates up to 250 guests.
Lofts at First National, seven floors of loft-style apartments, opened downtown last February. The Boardroom on the second floor is available to rent for a private party, and there is an on-site rooftop restaurant.
