Chevy Chase Country Club in June 2015 completed a renovation increasing capacity of the main ballroom by 100 seats to a total of 250 seats.
Aurora
A new Holiday Inn Express is scheduled to open in downtown Aurora in March 2016.
The newly renovated Meyer Ballroom in the North Island Center next to the Hollywood Casino accommodates up to 350 people. The space has floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the Fox River and historic Paramount Theatre.
Chicago Northwest
Eaglewood Resort & Spa recently completed a renovation of its 295 guest rooms and spa.
Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel recently began a renovation; Phase I, including carpet replacement, was completed in January.
Westin Chicago Northwest announced an extensive remodel to being early 2016, including upgrades to guest rooms, meeting space, and dining and lobby areas.
The Chicago Northwest region welcomes the following hotels to Schaumburg in 2016. At press time, Radisson and Hampton Inn & Suites properties were on track to open in the first half of the year; and TownePlace Inn, Fairfield Inn & Suites and Home2 by Hilton (www3.hilton.com) properties are expected to open later in the year.
Lisle
Hyatt Lisle completed a lobby renovation in June 2015.
Hilton Lisle completed a renovation of its lobby, lobby bar and restaurant in November 2015.
The Sheraton Lisle Hotel recently underwent a $7 million renovation project that included a redesign of all guest rooms, club lounge, main ballroom and public spaces.
Lake County
The 127-room Hotel Indigo recently completed a renovation of its public areas.
The 55-room Deer Path Inn in Lake Forest reopened in January 2016 after a year-long renovation.
St. Charles
Hilton Garden Inn St. Charles completed a major renovation of all public areas in May 2015. The renovation also included the introduction of the Garden Grille and Bar.
Heritage Corridor
The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Bolingbrook is expected to complete a renovation, including upgrading all banquet facilities and guest rooms, by July 2016.
Chicago Southland
Georgios Banquets Quality Inn & Suites Conference Centre recently underwent a renovation that included upgrades to guest rooms and meeting rooms, and the addition of more meeting space.
