Brother Jimmy’s Live, in New York City, revamped its Union Square venue. The 7,500-square-foot space can now accommodate up to 400 people and features two stages as well as seven private dining areas. The main dining room can seat 150 while The Bar can host 200 guests.
“Private and public areas available for rent range from a 10-person capacity to a 200-person capacity, and there’s always an option to rent out the whole property upstairs and downstairs,” explains Jon Kachejian, vice president. “We had a corporate holiday party this past year and it was a huge success,.”
The two stages are built for an array of events, from concerts to presentations, and feature newly added state-of-the-art sound systems. The first floor stage is located in the back of the restaurant and the downstairs stage, scheduled to debut later this year, will be ideal for songwriters and acoustic music. Equipment can be provided or guests can provide their own.
Brother Jimmy’s Live centers around music and live performances with the convenience of a central Manhattan location and restaurant on-site.
“It’s a real venue, for real musicians,” says Jimmy “Brother Jimmy” Goldman, the owner. “We have a prime position in the city, located around the corner from Irving Plaza and Webster Hall, and nearby New York University—it’s essentially a hotbed of music fans, artists and performers that will all be drawn to Brother Jimmy’s Live.”
