Lane End Conference Centre, located on 26 acres in the Buckinghamshire countryside, less than 25 miles from Heathrow Airport, joined the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC). The 104-guest room property has eight main conference rooms and 23 breakout rooms.
“I am delighted that Lane End Conference Centre has demonstrated its commitment to delivering the IACC Meetings Experience,” says Mark Cooper, IACC’s CEO. “We have established that they will provide meeting planners and event organizers with the confidence and trust required, and that they have chosen a quality venue and committed team to look after their meetings, conference or event.”
The largest of the property’s five buildings, The Pavilion, is undergoing a renovation, including the nearly 1,500-square-foot main function room that can accommodate 100 people. The 26 residential suites in the Wycombe Court building are also being upgraded. All renovations are set to be complete in the summer of 2016.
“It is a real honor for Lane End to now be recognized and included in IACC’s membership,” says Heni Fourie, director of sales and marketing for the conference center. “We aim to achieve excellence on a day-to-day basis be it a basic meeting or a much larger conference.”
Lane End Conference Centre is equipped with a gym on-site, virtual golf and teambuilding options from FootGolf, a nine-hole course where participants play golf using soccer balls, and truffle- and chocolate making classes.
