In 2015, the 111-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites/Madison Center opened within walking distance of the Alliant Energy Center. 

The 153-room Radisson Hotel Madison  recently underwent a renovation to its guest rooms and common areas.

The 72-room Graduate Madison, formerly The Campus Inn, recently underwent a name change and an extensive renovation, including the addition of a restaurant on the first floor.

The historic Edgewater Hotel recently reopened after a multimillion-dollar renovation that included the addition of a new hotel tower, 45,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space and four new restaurants. The property also unveiled an outdoor skating rink and water taxi service.

The Madison Concourse Hotel completed a renovation in 2015 including refurbished guest rooms, lobby and restaurant.

The Best Western Plus InnTowner Madison recently completed renovations of all 176 guest rooms.

Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center recently earned LEED Gold Certification for sustainability efforts in the operations and management of its Frank Lloyd Wright-designed facility. 

The Dane County Regional Airport also recently achieved LEED Gold Certification for implementing advanced practices at its airfield maintenance building. Also, American Airlines will be adding two daily nonstop flights from Madison to Charlotte, N.C., starting April 5, 2016.
