SAINT PAUL
The InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront hotel opened offering views of the Mississippi River and downtown Saint Paul skyline.
The multimillion-dollar renovation of the historic property showcases mid-century modern design and décor in all 410 guest rooms and public spaces. There is also 43,000 square feet of meeting space across 10 meeting rooms, an executive boardroom and two grand ballrooms with ample adjunct pre-function spaces. The Great River Ballroom can host up to 1,000 people, making it an ideal location for weddings, gala dinners and conferences.
“This building has been a fixture in Saint Paul for over 50 years and we are committed to the continuous evolution of this historic property," says Joe Nayquonabe, Jr., CEO, Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures. "With the extensive renovations complete, we are excited to bring the InterContinental brand of luxury to Minnesota’s capital city."
The hotel also offers a new dining experience at the Citizen Supper Club restaurant. With a modern twist on the supper club concept from a bygone era, guests can sip on midcentury cocktails, wine, beer or spirits at the bar or enjoy dishes crafted by executive chef John Occhiato. The menu at the Citizen Supper Club offers a variety of dishes, some more traditional while others have a more contemporary flavor.
