The Hilton West Palm Beach opened with 400 guest rooms. The new hotel, located downtown across from CityPlace and connected directly to the Palm Beach County Convention Center, has access to over 60 retail shops, restaurants and bars and an open-air plaza.
The hotel focuses on local, regional influences that can be seen throughout. In the lobby, internationally acclaimed South Florida artist Zammy Migdal is creating a wall sculpture, and large-scale ocean photographs by Palm Beach photographer Chris Leidy are featured in the restaurant and the lobby bar. “We are building a genuine West Palm Beach experience and tapping into the local talent base to foster a true sense of place for the community,” says General Manager John L. Parkinson. “Hilton West Palm Beach will be the place to socialize, enjoy refined meals and experience the destination to its fullest for locals, convention-goers and guests alike.”
The property features over 24,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 13,350-square-foot Oceana Ballroom, 5,800-square-foot Coral Ballroom and two 2,400-square-foot lawn spaces. For smaller functions, there are five private meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 70.
The Palm Beach County Convention Center, connected to the hotel via a covered walkway, offers an additional 350,000 square feet of space that includes a 10,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a 22,000-square-foot ballroom.
Special group programs include the Peppermint Menu, with items such as peppermint-infused tea, mints, hot chocolate and aroma spray, as peppermint is known to help strengthen concentration. Another is nighttime activities on the great lawn, with glow-in-the-dark lawn games such as bocce ball, ladder golf and cornhole.
