Renaissance Hotels announced the appointment of Dianne Pepe as the director of sales & marketing for the new Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel, scheduled to open spring 2016.
Pepe is responsible for spearheading all sales and marketing initiatives surrounding the launch of the 348-room hotel, set to become the brand’s New York City flagship and will be the city’s first digitally enhanced hotel. The property will offer 4,500 square feet of meeting space.
Prior to joining the Renaissance team, Pepe spent two years leading the sales effort for the $20 million renovation of the Hyatt Regency in Princeton, New Jersey. Preceding this she served as director of group and conference sales for the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York. Pepe also worked briefly as area director of sales for two New Jersey IACC-certified conference center hotels.

A native of Long Beach, New York, Pepe began her hospitality sales career in 1997 as catering manager for the Somerset, New Jersey-based Madison Suites Hotel. Her extensive hospitality resume includes serving as director of group sales for the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. In 2003 she was recruited by the prestigious Princeton, New Jersey-based Doral Forrestal Conference Center and Spa where she received recognition as the top hotel sales manager for Interstate Hotels and Resorts Northeast Region 2005.
Pepe is certified by Meeting Professionals International, the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and is a designated Hospitality Supervisor from the American Hotel Association.
