Key Notes: A New Look! (April 2016)

Last November we made the transformation from being Meetings Focus to a fresh new brand, Meetings Today, with a reinvigorated mission to bring you more coverage of the people impacting the industry, along with our always thorough complement of destination reporting.

This issue marks the first installment of our new redesign, ably carried out by Brand Design Director Scott Easton.

We’ve made it easier to find what you’re looking for, using bullets, lists and boxes to accommodate everyone’s need for fast access to information. The vibrant color scheme in our new departments sections, The Agenda and Trending, gives the reader a sense of navigation through the issue, while the bold photo captions offer increased legibility.

We hope you enjoy this new twist to Meetings Today magazine, and please be sure to drop me a line to give us your opinion not only on the new look, but also any ideas you may have to improve our coverage (tyler.davidson@meetingstoday.com).

And speaking of coverage, our “Meetings Mayhem” cover story jumps headfirst into the potentially calamitous issue of incompatible groups meeting in the same house, with planner horror stories galore.

While many of the tales have a humorous slant, some carried the potential of danger, or at the least, extreme unease, for both delegates and planners.

Enjoy the read, and by all means, feel free to ping me with any horror stories you may have encountered over the years (or respond in the comment section below). We’re all ears!
