The Kunsten Museum of Modern Art  reopened in January following a major renovation and expansion of its exhibition space. The museum, which features works by Danish and international artists from 1900 onward, can host catered receptions for up to 150 people.

Scandic Hotels is planning to open a 370-room property called Scandic Kodbyen  in the Meatpacking District, a once-industrial area that is now a trendy neighborhood of hip clubs and restaurants. Set to open in early 2018, the hotel will offer conference space for up to 550 attendees. According to developers, design elements will honor the area’s history and provide a creative atmosphere for meetings.

The Nimb Hotel in Tivoli Gardens is planning a major expansion expected to be completed in late 2017. The boutique property, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, will more than double its size with the addition of 20 suites. It is also adding an expansive roof terrace that will be available for private events. The new terrace will feature views of Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen, along with a large restaurant and bar and swimming pool.
