Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch completed an expansion. Located in Tucson, the boutique resort added 32 guest rooms, including two two-bedroom suites with views of the Santa Catalina Mountains, bringing the total guest room count to 59. The new rooms were designed to reflect the Santa Fe-style construction of the existing historic structures. The six new buildings housing the guest rooms have a village feel with landscaped walking paths that lead guests to the Terraza Garden Patio, a historic courtyard and a new negative-edge swimming pool. The buildings feature hand-painted Mexican-tile murals, metal sculptures and over 4,000 tons of recycled Coronado brown stone. The 5,100-square-foot Casa Luna Ballroom seats up to 260 guests and offers a patio with city views. The ballroom can be divided and has a dedicated kitchen, new furniture and dance floor, dual entrances and discrete vendor access.
