- Captain Memo’s Original Pirate Cruise, Clearwater Beach. Set sail morning, afternoon or evening, enjoying pirate hijinks along the way. “A group could rent the whole boat if they wanted, that’s 125, or we could do groups of 10,” says Pam Wozencraft, special events coordinator. “We can do pirate-themed games, music and scavenger hunts. It depends on the group and how crazy they want to get.”
- The Pirate Ship, Madeira Beach. A swashbuckling two-hour voyage on the waters of Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Private cruises let groups party like it’s 1666.
- Black Pearl Pirate Ship Cruises of Marco Island. Operating in New Jersey during the summer, this seasonal boat offers pirate-themed tours, sunset cruises and private charters for up to 80. “We have a DJ and full-service bar,” notes owner Frank Camarda. “It’s a great time.”
- Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise, Panama City Beach. Two-hour cruises ply the waters near the entrance to St. Andrews Bay from March to October.
- Buccaneer Pirate Cruise, Destin. With a skilled seadog at the helm, passengers are entertained with sword fights, storytelling, singing, dancing and treasure hunts. Private parties and meetings for up to 149 arrrrr offered.
