Interview With Joseph Pred, Establishing A Nice Pace

Joseph Pred is an emergency and risk manager who has been working with festivals and events since 1993. He founded his emergency response and risk management consulting company (Mutual Aid Response Services) in 2000 and has worked at some events all over the world, including Burning Man, and Glastonbury. Additionally Joseph has government experience serving multiple terms as a Commissioner on the San Francisco Entertainment Commission, overseeing permits, venues, and events for the entire city. Joseph is also an author and public speaker on matters of public safety, risk management, and temporary mass gatherings, including being a featured keynote speaker at the Next Generation Meetings Conference in Stockholm, Sweden back in 2011.
